Romany Gypsy Folklore

The PREMIUM "ROMANY GYPSY DANCE FOLKLORE" Gallery features ten digitally-montaged performances of ROMANY GYPSY folklore from Rajastan, Russia, Turkey and Portugal by four international artists - Marguerite Kusuhara, Hannah Romanovsky, Miriam Peretz, Monica Roncon, Colleen Shakti and Hayat dance Ensemble, The featured video, ("Kalbeliya Gypsy Snake Charmers of Rajasthan"), celebrates ancestral homeland of Gypsies in Rajastani desert of Northern India.,(Categories: one short dance film and nine archival footages of past cultural performances).

Romany Gypsy Folklore -
UNESCO status:

Kalbeliya Gypsy Dance has been added to UNESCO's representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in year 2010. In Kalbelia dance, men play traditional instruments and women perform the "Snake Charmers" dance, resembling movements of a snake.
