My name is Myriam Levine-Kay. I am a former professional choreographer & digital filmmaker (MA in film studies). In June 2021, I lost my home in a fire tragedy. I created this digital Dance Museum , while living in transitional housing (for women who've lost their homes) for a period of 8 months. The present objective of my dance museum is to help me raise enough donations to move out of transitional housing and have a home again. Thank you for not remaining indifferent and for offering your gift of support.

Uzbek Dance - UNESCO status:
There are three main schools of dance in Uzbekistan: Khorezm, Anahita and Bukhara dances. Just like Persian dance, Uzbek dance has been traditionally performed by women only, while men played musical instruments. Dancers received patronage from the royal family and nobility. Khorezm dance has been added to the list of intangible heritage of UNESCO in 2019.
